DFM Support

Practical manufacturability feedback so your parts run smoother on the shop floor.

What This Process Is Built For

We’re not replacing your engineering team or doing full product design. We focus on how your parts move through cutting, machining, forming, welding, and inspection—and what can be adjusted to make that more efficient and reliable.

DFM Support
Typical DFM Topics
  • Tolerances that could be relaxed without impacting function

  • Features that complicate cutting, forming, or welding

  • Material and thickness choices versus forming and weld behavior

  • Opportunities to simplify weldments or reduce part count

  • Process recommendations (laser vs waterjet, weld sequence, machining strategy)

How It Works
  • You check “DFM Support” on the RFQ form.

  • You upload drawings and/or models.

  • We review the design with our process in mind.

  • We send back questions or suggestions before finalizing the quote.

You can request DFM feedback by checking “DFM Support” on our RFQ form, where we review your design in the context of CNC machining, laser cutting, or waterjet cutting.

DFM reviews are conducted by our in-house team in Ham Lake, Minnesota, alongside the same equipment used for production.

For fastest quoting, please include drawings, material, thickness, quantities, and any critical tolerances.
