SERVICES  |  WELDING & FABRICATION

Welding & Fabrication

MIG, TIG, and spot welding for components and assemblies that need to fit and perform in real equipment.

bg

What This Process Is Built For

We build welded components and assemblies that end up on real machines and equipment. That includes everything from smaller brackets to larger frames, guards, housings, and fabricated structures that fit within our cutting, forming, and handling capabilities.

We’re a strong fit when you need:

  • Welded brackets, frames, supports, and guards

  • Welded housings, boxes, and fabricated enclosures

  • Base plates, stands, and fabricated structures

Assemblies built from laser, waterjet, and machined components.

Welding and fabrication are performed at our Ham Lake, Minnesota facility using fixture-based, repeatable processes.

Processes & Materials

Processes

  • MIG welding

  • TIG welding

  • Resistance spot welding

Materials

  • Carbon/mild steel

  • Stainless steel

  • Aluminum

If a project involves something unusual (material or size), we’ll confirm fit during the RFQ review.

Typical Parts
  • Brackets and mounting structures

  • Machine frames and subframes that fit our fixtures and handling

  • Guards, shields, and covers

  • Welded bases, stands, and structural supports

  • Assemblies built from precision‑cut and machined components

We frequently weld components that we also cut and machine in‑house, improving fit‑up and repeatability.

Part Size & Handling

We handle parts and weldments that:

  • Fit within our cutting tables, press brakes, and material handling

  • Can be fixtured and welded efficiently in our facility

  • Do not require ultra‑heavy structural or large building‑scale fabrication

If you share overall part size and approximate weight at RFQ, we’ll confirm whether it’s a good fit.

Fixturing & Repeat Work

For weldments that run repeatedly, we can build fixtures and jigs to:

  • Control alignment and distortion

  • Improve consistency run‑to‑run

  • Reduce setup time and cost

Quality & Inspection

Because we can also machine and inspect, we can:

  • Machine and verify critical surfaces on weldments

  • Check key dimensions and interfaces

  • Support FAI for new assemblies

  • Provide dimensional reports when required

Many of our weldments are built from components produced through laser cutting and CNC machining, then verified through quality and inspection before shipment.

All of this is backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system.

For fastest quoting, please include drawings, material, thickness, quantities, and any critical tolerances.
